Help with a song desperately needed!

All right, here we are, four women sitting together after dinner, drinking wine and discussing - obvious reasons for that are on the table - the song "I'm through with love".

And there is a bitch fight going on who recorded that song - besides Diana Krall.

Does anyone know? Please let me be right

Here are the lyrics:

"I'm Through With Love"

I'm thru with love
I'll never fall again
Said adieu to love
Don't ever call again
For I must have you or no one
That's why I'm thru with love

I've locked my heart
I keep my feelings there
I have stocked my heart
Like an icy Frigadere
For I need to care for no one
That's why I'm thru with love

Why did you lead me
To think that you cared
You didn't need me
For you have your share
Of slaves around you
To hound you and swear
Their deep devotion
Emotion

By the spring
And all it meant to me
It could never be
The things that used to be
For I must have you or no one
That's why I'm thru with love

Goldie Hawn recorded it on the CD soundtrack for the Woody Allen film, "Everyone Says I Love You."

Great movie!!!

I'm not sure who wrote it! Bing Crosby definately sang it, and I think Marilyn Monroe did too in "Some Like It Hot" if that's any help. I like this song

Thanks, our discussion really gets going now

And, in case someone knows this one - we turned from passive devotion to active hate (wine is flowing) - but somehow are too young to remember who sang this one - besides Jessica Simpson.

Nancy Sinatra!! Or was it Tina, I get the names mixed up. The short blonde one who's aged poorly, not the taller brunette one.
