It would degenerate to the point where only the lowest common denominator remained. It would be populated with intellectually vacuous, morally reprehensible jackels. It would be a cesspool of everything perverted and debauched in humanity. In short, I'd feel right at home.
And, by the way, I love Lena D. too!

I believe it was the old AOL board that was eventually taken down because of all the threads advocating rape and mutilation of players, among other, equally bad things. It would be very much like that very quickly. There are some really cool people on these boards, but there are some real scummy ones too. And certainly some who are more than willing to take stalking and threats offline, and into the real world.

Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

It will attract many people who would nothing to do with tennis, but jus looking for someone to pick on. You could find alll kind of people, including with real deep hatred for other races show up tp preach their gospel about how some undesirabe have ruined tennis, blah, blah

Sad, but true. Anyone and everyone who I like and respect here would

It would be a warzone, but it would be totally hilarious at the same time.

Helen, you're probably the only person with any class who'd stick around, because you're a tough old broad. The most obnoxious, agressive, offensive posters on this board, hell; you've got chunks of punks like that in your stool!

That I do, hon! I'm a barracuda!

I'd pick offensiveness over boredom and mediocrity any day.

This can't last. This misery can't last. I must remember that and try to control myself. Nothing lasts really. Neither happiness nor despair. Not even life lasts very long. There'll come a time in the future when I shan't mind about this anymore, when I can look back and say quite peacefully and cheerfully how silly I was. No, no, I don't want that time to come ever. I want to remember every minute, always, always to the end of my days.

but what's really fvckin funny and sad is that some people actually don't mind boredom and mediocrity because that's all they know.
