Boot Camp Murder

Someone please come n here and tell me that the story I just saw on MSNBC about a 14-year-old young man being beaten to death after collapsing during exercise is an old, old, old story that I obviously missed a long, long, time ago.

I am so horrified by what I saw that I just had to turn off the tv.

It's 2008 and I'm shopping for a new fave. Hell no! And Venus is still playing?

I Love You, Roger and Venus, 5-time Wimbledon Champions!

I'll tell you what happened. A kid who was a passenger in his grandmother's car that was stolen by his cousins, whas sent to a Florida boot camp by his parents (on the recommendation of someone else) to straighten him out. He was going through some drills when he started to tire. The guards, (all but one of whom was white), didn't believe he was tired and started beating him as he was some sort of animal. A so-called nurse was also seen on the tape supposedly supervising the kid medically, though I didn't see her fat ass doing a damn thing to help the kid. After he was close to being dead, they decided to send him to the hospital to get medical treatment. He died at the hospital later that day. The first medical examiner said he died from a sickel cell trait. The problem with this diagnosis is that a person who has the trait for sickel cell anemia cannot die from the trait; they can only die from sickel cell anemia. The family, not convinved with this result, called in famed pathalogist Michael Baden to supervise a second autopsy. Those finding conculded that the kid was beaten to death. The county, state and federal government is looking into this case. As of today, no one has been arrested for this kid's death.
