Hey! I think there are a couple of tricks...

* Don't forget to enjoy what you're learning.

*Make studying an "event"-- it doesn't have to be boring-- get comfortable, drink your favourite drink etc.

*Make some time for rest and relaxation-- promise this to yourself at the end of a study period.

*Do work well ahead of time to give you time to get plenty of rest when you do (it's hard but it makes studying more fun).

*get up early and stick to a schedule

If you review your notes every night, there's far less studying at the end

Study with friends, or alongside them in a place where you can't get distracted. Always works.

the only way for me to get motivated is to have a deadline that's closing in.

Picture yourself sat behind a checkout at ASDA for £5 an hour. Or even worse... picture yourself as a McDonald's employee for life.

Group studying NEVER works. That's why people do so poorly first year at UNI becaue that's when they discover the "group study session"

I just say dive right in. I don't like studying in general but who does. The thing is it has to be done. I just lock myself in my room turn everything off and get it over with. I just don't want a bad grade or to fail, that's all the motivation I need.

The woods are hopeless. Don't waste your time, they will be destroyed. So will the marsh. It is a losing game mankind has played for more than a century. Sadness is what you are, do not deny it. The universe is a lonely place, a painful place. This is what we can share between us, period.

i dunno. i procrastinate a lot but at the core, i think i'm really motivated by my desire to succeed and do the best at everything possible. so you have to find your inner muse and run with it, i guess.
