Yup.

1 in 20 people has been a victim of crime. Which means that 19 out of 20 people are criminals.

Manfred Mann's "Blinded By The Light"

Sorry, music snobs, but Springsteen's original blows by comparison.

He may not have the power of Whitney but his vocal technique and that soul inside him
Probably the most soulful Chinese singer you'll ever see. and seems like he also idolizes Mariah.

^ Going on with the 'ancient' theme .

No offense to Cat Stevens but I think Rod Stewart totally stole "First Cut Is The Deepest".

That's not the only song he 'stole' too. He was amazing at covering songs back in the days...

Re: Best cover versions??

I've found that almost everything Melanie and Bobby Darin covered was pure gold - almost always an improvement on the original. Just a few examples, for the very few on here who will be interested (most of these are decades old):

MELANIE

BOBBY DARIN

A FEW OTHERS

These two are my favourite covers.

The Pogues covering Eric Bogle´s And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda.

Cowboy Junkies covering The Velvet Underground´s Sweet Jane.
