Senate OKs $50 billion more for wars

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9619538/

Well, there goes another $50 Billion down the drain.
I wonder when enough will be enough?
In a time when our children need text books and more teachers...
In a time when medical health care is the worst it's ever been...
In a time when waves of catastrophes have crippled the economy (further)...
In a time when energy costs threaten to hit record highs...
In a time when jobless rates have taken an astronomical leap...

Our great leaders decide to drop trousers and take a fiscal dump on our heads.
Thank you federal government!

Given the 97-0 vote, this means that every single Democrat fell in behind the Administration (or was among the 3 Senators who didn't vote on it).

If they don't vote for it, the Republicans would claim they are neglecting our troops. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I'm guessing the three that didn't vote were people who couldn't bring themselves to vote for it and didn't want to commit political suicide by voting against it.
