WTA World Recipe Cookbook

Post yours!

I make this one for my boyfriend, because we all know that the best way to our boyfriend's heart is through their stomachs

Oh, and I am not a slut.

Marjorie's Sausage and Mostaccioli With Creme Sauce

8 ounces Mostaccioli
12 ounces bulk sweet italian sausage
2 cups sliced shitake mushrooms
1 small red sweet pepper cut into bite-size pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 1/2 cups whipping creme
2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta, drain and keep warm.

In a large skillet, cook sausage, mushrooms, sweet red pepper, onion and garlic until the sausage is brown. Drain fat.

Stir whipping creme, basil and pepper into sausage mixture. Cook over medium-low heat 5 to 8 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, then stire cheese into the sauce.

Arrange pasta on individual plates or a large platter. Spoon the sauce over the pasta. Can garnish with fresh basil if you want to be fancy Makes about 4 servings.

That looks great, hon!!! I plan to try it this weekend! Thanks for the great recipe.

I have none to share at this point off the top of my head, but I'll get some. Helen loves to cook and is pretty good, too!
