I love this show and I love the family edition!
Okay, first I want to say that the Black family were out of the race before the first 20 minutes were aired. I knew it was going to be them or the Italians who treat their mom(who is forgetful) like crap. I mean they were all so non-competitive. I was like MOVE, RUN, ROW! lol
I think one of my favorite Amazing Race moments was when the mother of the two children was gaining on the brawny men group, and her son began to sing.. " she'll be comin round the mountiain when she comes". Right as she passed the men group.. that was priceless.
I love this family because they are conditioned and use great positive re-enforcement. The kids don't seem cocky to me, but extremely confident and wordly. GO FAMILY!
I also love the family from Cincy, Ohio. As an Ohian I want them to represent. I am glad my Bengals were and are being represented. WHO DEY! lol I think they can make up some ground. I love the family who's dad died. They seem like they going to balance out well. I almost cried when I saw the look on those girls faces when their mom got run over by the cart. Sad. But they made it.. after they gave the cart thing up and build wheel/house.
I think the Louisiana teams will surprise many. Especially the team with the real dark haired girl. She seems motivated. When they go out of the country I think they will pact together as one entire team and work together to get farther.
I don't care for the blonde ladies.. they seem bubbly but was surprised that they were in first place.
I think having kids will be an advantage and an disadvantage. I think they will be more at a disadvantage becasue of the stunts that have to be finished. Children will become scared, but I think the real tirck is going to be when they have to do a task, the parents will have to split up because they can't leave the children alone with each other. Yet kids are small and will also get into tighter spaces and things like that. They will get more sympathy.
This is a great show and I actually don't dislike any of the teams.
