Iron Chef

it's embarassing but umm i'm slightly obsessed with Iron Chef. that show cracks me up so much. Not Iron Chef America, that's not as funny.

I like a lot of the other cooking shows. I make a lot of the recipes and they turn out pretty good as well. I like Giada de Laurentiis and the Contessa the best.

Yeah, the original Iron Chef dubbed into English is the best! One of the judges is always some cheesy Japanese actress, who does nothing but giggle and make stupid comments...the dubbing of that into English always cracks me up.

I think you just like Giada de Laurentis because her dad and grandfather are movie producers

That does have something to do with it. I wanted to be in Hannibal (grandfather co-produced) as Clarice Starling, but I was too old. So I said I'd play Anthony Hopkins' mother in some flashbacks, you know, young Hannibal goes on the road with his chanteuse mother and all pre-becoming a cannibal. They didn't buy it. Maybe next time.
For being a hot piece of rich ass, her husband is sort of dorky, he's on the show sometimes.

her husband is somewhat doable if you have a few glasses of wine. the woman is so skinny. I don't think she eats anything she cooks. She is part of the Hollywood scene though so you can't rule out an eating disorder.

and speaking of rich ass, I had no idea Ina worked in the Carter Whitehouse working on nuclear weapon policy. Who'd have thunk from looking at her?

They say that some anorexics are obsessed with food and cooking--for others. That could be her.
I figured maybe she was a cocaine addict and just couldn't put any weight on. When someone is skinny in Hollywood, it's either an eating disorder or cocaine.

Yes, I was most surprised about that. I think she worked for Ford, also, though she's defintely what Car Key Boi would call a "lefty-tard."
Her husband is the president of Yale Business School or something. Ina has the bucks, that much is certain!
I like Ina's friends, those men she invites over are really cute. I really watch her show more for the men friends she has on. I'd never cook her stuff, it's too much and more for entertaining.

all the men she has on her show are gay. I don't think they'd be into you Hel, except as a Streisand figure or something

It's amazing what Helen can do when she's on a mission. Hell, with a steely determination, I battled out of the slums of Brooklyn to become an Academy Award winning actress and pulled no punches. I can get a gay guy to rustle something up for me.

I'm on the fence with the really good looking one she has over all the time, the one who bought her the charcoil hood and stuff. He's always alone and doesn't float or anything like her other guy-friends. I can't decide if he's gay or straight. Or am I losing my touch?

I have not seen the guy you are talking about but I'm pretty sure the flower guy, her table decorator, the one who hangs around sometimes who is named Steve, and almost all of the other ones I've seen without their wives are gay.

The flower guy is the only one I wouldn't do. Steve is my favorite one.
The one in question, sort of dark hair, a little gray, drives an old Grand Cherokee Wagon. She once cooked a whole dinner for him to pass off as his own to his friends, a few of whom were hottie women. He wears a wedding ring, but never any mention of a wife or anything. He dresses sort of faggy, but I'm not sure if that's a Long Island thing. He has a killer body.

oh I don't know. He's either single and rich or gay with all the women hanging around him.

Do you think that Ina has poolside orgies when Jeffery is gone like Martha?
