Good Carbs vs. Bad Carbs

So since I've turned 35 I've decided to take better care of myself (yeah better late then never )

So that means limiting my refined carbs.

I don't know if i can give up pasta though..well yeah I do...I can't give up pasta. So I have to find some whole grain pasta if it exists.

Besides white flour and white sugar I'm still a little unclear on what's bad carbs.

So who else is watching carbs and what do you eat. btw, anyone else tired of salads.

Low G.I are the better carbs because they release energy slower. I actually really recommend following this low G.I plan! I think it depends on how much exercise you get too though.

Damn you Indian food

there's so much stigma attached to good carb foods. Brown rice is for poor people, if you eat chickpeas in public people will think your family can't afford anything better, if you make flatbread from dark flour, it's because you're too cheap to buy white flour

I was going to ask a couple of friends about chickpea flour.....is that good or bad carbs? My friend gave me a couple of lbs of snack mix with chickpea flour and stuff?
