For Gent (BEL) inhabitants

I have to go next week to Passage Fitness next week in Gent for a school rapport. It's at zuiderlaan, do you know if there's a station close to it? is it easy to access there with public transport?

Thank you

I think the Zuiderlaan is at the Blaarmeersen right? If so, it's very easy reachable by foot from the Sint-Pietersstation (main railway station of Ghent) (I think a 15 minute walk)

If only I was sure that my head on the door was a dream

The best option is by foot from St-Pieters station, though it may take slightly longer than 15 minutes. Follow Koning Boudewijstraat/Patijntjesstraat - go right at the traffic lights over the Europabrug - left at the roundabout Europalaan/Zuiderlaan

Re: Public transportation
Buses 38 and 39 go to the blaarmeersen (the Passage is just before the blaarmeersen-topsporthal-"huis van de sport" area), but they dont pass by St-Pietersstation. They do stop at the Dampoort, but its useless unless youre coming from that direction. I m certain a St-P -> Dampoort -> Blaarmeersen trip would take much longer than the walk from St-P...
I've never understood how the Blaarmeersen and St-P could be so close yet there is no direct busline connecting them...

Ok, this is just weird.

I wanted to check whether tram 4 stops near the Blaarmeersen, as I only remember trams stopping as close as the Albert-brug, which means you'd still have a nice walk (and I suppose by Muidebrug you mean the final destination as its no where near the Zuiderlaan): so I googled "De Lijn".
Turns out tram 4 even stops at the Brugsepoort (which is exactly where I live) and I just can't visualise a trambedding there (closest would be dr Guislain). Okay, we do have the electricity-lines (old trolley 3 passes by), but im certain there are no rails... I must be getting senile!

What is this mystery tram4? Its freaking me out!

Goodbye Kim C

tram 4 probably shoots you into a different dimension

I've asked today a friend of mine who follows class here and who lives in Gent, she told me I could take the Bus 9 as well, can anyone confirm that? because she wasn't sure where Zuiderlaan is
