Well this thread is just going to result in a load of partisan nationalistic clap trap!

And like I've said before, Europe is not a country, so as a "European" from the UK (and, yes, let's have a heated debate about whether the UK is part of Europe and maybe do some Brit bashing at the same time) how on earth can anyone have a sensible debate.

A load of Americans will come in here and troll on about how the Europeans have bad teeth and are Anti American, or will make cute posts like "why should the US give a shit about what Europeans think".

Then some "Europeans" will retaliate with posts suggesting that Americans are fat and pig ignorant about the world in general and Europe in particular, that the US is hurtling us towards global warming and the extinction of the planet and wants to dominate the world with its misplaced obsession with the spread of "democracy" (aka "imperialism"),

blah blah blah....................

Gosh, I hope this post doesn't make me sound weary and cynical

In the UK everyone kisses America's ass all the time, so no, we (as a country) don't think we are better than Americans.

Not sure about mainland Europe though.

I am aware that Europe is not one country. Likewise America because it is a union is not uniform either.

I'm assuming you're joking because the mainstream tabloid and fringe media are highly critical of the US.

Britan share a close link with the U.S. That is why the British Labor government has allied itself with the Republicans. Only the liberal democrats are anti-Republican but fortunately they have no chance winning.
