I love his movies!
"Bad Education" was good, but I think his best work to date is still "All About my Mother" what a great movie!

I'm with you guys, Pedro is an awesome director 'Todo sobre mi madre' and 'Hable con ella' are among my all-time favourite movies, and his last work has been blessed with a stunning performance from Gael García Bernal
I must confess I'm not quite as familiar with his older works, though I've seen - and liked a lot - some of them. I like the fact he has evolved through the years, his early films were even more extreme, in the way he used his characters and he built the plot...

Besides, Pedro is a symbol of Spain, to my eyes... and I happen to be very fond of Spain, so I inevitably feel pretty close to what is portraited on screen. And even a quick scene shot outdoors in Barcelona or Madrid brings memories back, and that makes watching his movies kinda sweet

I know ! The BBC also considered "All About my Mother" as his prime play... they criticized "Bad Education" for its noir aspects and casual dealing of pedophilia...

I actually though really dislike 'Tie Me Up Tie Me Down'...I hate the storyline and don't like any of the characters. I think it was one of his first feature films.

I have only seen "All about my mother".

Really weird - if someone had told me about the plot I would have said and never watched it.

But I came across it accidentally on TV and then really liked it.

I LOVED Bad Education! I have to disagree with the BBC's criticism of the film for its alleged casual treatment of pedophilia. In fact, I found its portrayal of that theme to be quite the opposite...

And thanks to this film, I now have a HUGE crush on Gael García!

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

I like his movies a lot. His style is so distinctive.

First one I saw was Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (with a young Antonio Banderas). laughed like crazy.

I like Pedro! His films are fab! And gael garcia bernal! I loved All about my mother and bad education but I actually enjoyed Talk to her most. I found it sad and yet pretty hilarious.
