Anyone been to the Greek Islands?

I'm going back to Greece for the 3rd time in as many years and my plans sorta fell through this time so (money permitting) i'd like to go to several islands to spend most of my time there..

I've spent over 6 weeks on Lesvos, a week or so on Santorini, and over 2 months on the mainland and this time around I'm just looking for some nice islands to go to.

My parents will also be flying down for about 2 week while i'm there and I'm looking for somewhere to take them (pretty much a tourist resort etc.. because otherwise they'll bitch) and Mykonos looks quite nice (read: generally "clean", not many bugs, nice beaches, etc..) - so I was wondering if anyone has been there before to confirm this - and what are the best "resorts" (beaches) to stay on/near?

As for me I plan on going to Aegina, Hydra, Milos, and possibly Paros etc. but I'm open to suggestions, since I'm sure I'll have a ball on pretty much any island I go to

- so any recommendations?

Thx in advance

Mytilini is my favourite island by far....I also liked chios, but it would be only for a few days, because it's really small and there's not that much to do...

They're coming to get you Barbara!

Crete is nice, but you have to stay long enough to really see all that it has to offer. Rhodos is great too, it's the hottest of the Greek islands and there's enough to do for you not to get bored. Don't know which one of the two i liked most

Chios small ? - actually its very large .. i believe the 4th or 5th largest island

..but yeah it looks promising - but idk bc it seems to be a bit like Lesvos so I'm trying to get away from that geographic area .. not to mention if it has the wildlife Lesvos had then I think i'll have to pass after having the episodes of sharing my room with gigantic spiders, gekos all over my walls and shower (which was cute I must admit!), iguanas (quite large I may add) in our rooms etc..

and yeah Mytilini was fine (i've spent 6 weeks there - well in Thermi and went into town almost daily) - but I must admit I enjoyed Santorini more (yes I guess I can say I'm a 5 star hotel whore )

Ive been to Thassos (in the north), Rodes or whatever and Symi (near Turkey). but i was only about 6 then.

Last year however, i went to Turkey and could see the Greek island of Lesbos.
