I just can't catch a break!

So I was in the hospital on New Year's eve for an infection in a wound that still hasn't healed completely btw and I'm not even a diabetic.

A 16 year old provisional driver created this chain reaction accident that I was caught in last Friday.

So of course this car that I've had for 6 years and have taken very good care of is going to be totaled by the insurance company.

Of course less than 7 days before I put a new side view mirror on, a new handle on the inside, new tires, new inspection sticker............3 months ago a complete service.

Now, I have to go out and get another car which means a car payment, and a lot higher insurance because the car will be worth more.

I'm so not in a position to acquire a car payment. I'm probably going to have to work a weekend job. Well that is if I want to still go on my trips....

I can get a knockabout car but I'm not guarenteed to get a car taken as well care of as mine was.........you know oil changed every 3,000 miles, service when required.

2005...........getting started off with a bang.

awww rocky

girl, i know what u're going through. i had dengue on new years day (well, i was almost recovered but there was no countdown for me), amber (my dog) has taken a liking to peeing on my kirman rug which cost me a bomb. its really annoying cuz i trained her so hard to pee outside. i had to send it to the carpet cleaners and my parents told me to use my own money!pffft!

i'm on a break with my bf and that slut felicia seems to be getting cosy with him (fortunately i have spies around and nothing's going on). oh, and 2 weeks ago my baby sister peed all over my lavender silk blouse which i've only worn 3 times.(too many pee incidents surrounding me) i accidentally cought the sleeve of a sweater on a nail and it has a rip through it. i also broke a heel of my beloved charles david heels. the thing is that when it broke, i tripped and fell on a streetside and grazed my knee and slightly twisted my ankle. and a few people actually laughed, even my friends!GRRRR. AS IF!pfffffffft!my hairstylist totally messed up my hair. i told him i wanted it shoulder length, layered and now it looks like halle berry's in monster's ball, only slightly better. GAWD!

but in all honesty, you problems sound worse. but u know what they say about problems. its there so you can think of solutions.

Haha, that is a lot of peeing going on around you.

No I hear you sometimes problems seem to be a ball rolling down a hill just gaining speed and momentum.

The funny thing is last year we (my family) said it can only get better in 2005....I guess we were wrong.

Last February we had a ice storm and a tree branch brought down the power line catching our house on fire. Luckily my mother heard it and woke up as soon as the house caught on fire, woke me up and called 911. However, we lost every appliance in the house except the washer, dryer, & stand alone freezer. It took almost 10 months to replace everything.

Then a week after we got back into the house our dog was hit and killed.

Then my sister had a miscarriage at 6 months pregnant.

Then her husband was diagnosed with skin cancer again...had 7 surgeries....only to have the cancer come back again. He has some weird genetic skin issue that's working against him.

Another Sister's toy poodle was hit and killed and he was like her baby....

Then I had surgery and had my problems.....

Oh well I know people have gone through worse and at least no one close to me has passed away that would be much much worse.....so here's to keeping things in perspective.

I totally understand you. My health as really got bad in the last month or so - constant headaches every day, dizziness, now matter how much sleep I get it still isn't enough and I feel like all the time. I'm really starting to think I have the Justine virus thingy. On top of it all I fell and hurt my knee I injured 6 years ago and it hurts like hell.
But you know what they say: every cloud has a silver lining. I just can't see one now.

I know what you mean.......but there is a silver lining.....somewhere.

I forgot to mention the headaches that I've been going to a Neuroligist for a year for and all I have to show for it is a lot of medical bills....my headache occurance is less but not as much as I would like.

So I really know what you are going through. I'm sure it will get better (I'm telling myself this as well.).

well if it makes you feel better, jan 1, 2002 i got dumped by my then girlfriend (it when something like ME:happy new year!! HER: You know i would like to start things of fresh this year, this relationship is over, i never want to see you again) and it actually went DOWNHILL from there. NOW, in late march things turned around and 2002 was one of the best most wonderfullest years of my life. travel, romance, friendship, love, money. had it all that year by the end.

so keep your head up, things can and do get better.
