Is this a disease?

Some ppl ( one out of like 1000 ) will grow enormous out of everything.. like 2m 30cm even when their parents are smaller than the average. Heard they have difficulty breathing and are more likely to develop cardinal disease due to a lot of burden on their hearts. But is it a disease? Some kinda abnormal genes?

Umm... I'm studying to become a doctor and was given an assignment about the illness called "Giant Syndrome". So this is a serious question. You better think before you insult ppl.

It is a genetic disorder, called Marfan's Sydrome. Abraham Lincoln is thought to have it. It causes stress on heart, because it has to work extra hard to pump blood to all organs in the body because they are so stretched out.

Then study instead of getting the internet to do your homework for you !

Try starting with:

Marfan's syndrome
Homocystinuria
Kleinfelter's syndrome
Thyrotoxicosis
Growth hormone excess
Congenital adrenal hyperplasia

I'm not being harsh, well maybe a little bit LOL.

I stand by it though - if you're going to learn something, try and do the research first and then ask for help with what you don't understand, don't expect people to do the research for you !
