Person of the Year isn't always a good thing though. Bin Laden made it to the final three in 2001.

It's time to return to Russian Roulette, tenn_ace.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

but if you read why he was given the person of the year award, you'd know that Time magazine has different view of him in mind....

Talk about adding insult to injury!

JESUS

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. Ps. 36:1

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Ps. 14:1, 53:1

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Prov. 1:7

...Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28:28

Indeed...the writer of the article from TIME was on the TODAY show this morning. He explained that it is not necessarily an honor. It is for better of for worse. Actually...Bush's competition for the distinction was Al-Zarqawi, Michael Moore and Mel Gibson............. From what he explained...Al-Zarqawi was really close in the running....

Ayaltolah Khomeni as well...

I was in the final 3 in 1959 after my glorious Oscar win that topped off a legendary career of dramas, musicals, and comedies, at which all I was equally adept and ultra-talented. But they gave it to Ike. I mean, what the hell, Ike had 8 years to win. And though I certainly liked Ike, he really isn't going to go down as an all-time great in the President category either.

I think it's biased towards U.S. Presidents.
