Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

I read the transcript the other day. Jon Stewart really put them in their place. I always though Crossfire was a colossal waste of airtime. (I refer to it as "the Jerry Springer show with expensive suits".) "This guy's a conservative, and this guy's a liberal, and they disagree.... about everything!" If one said the sky was blue, the other would disagree. (Well, around here they would have good reason.) I swear, someone could walk through their door with the most brilliant solution to one of this country's most pressing problems, and one of them would be opposed simply because of his/her political affiliation.

I wish I had seen this particular episode. Sounds like Jon really got their knickers in a wad.
