ALCS Boston vs. New York Game 1:
New York won 10-7
Next Game: Tomorrow at 8:00

Go Yankees!!

Do it again tomorrow!!

BTW, I can't STAND the broadcasters on the FOX networks, especially Joe Buck . They were openly rooting for the Red Sox to win tonight and couldn't contain themselves when the Yankees pitcher (Mike Mussina) lost his perfect game bid and when the Red Sox almost came all the way back to tie the Yankees

I'm with you and the Fox gasbags commentators. What I would LOVE is for each teams' regular commentators to call the games when their side is home and have THAT broadcast nationally. They're going to have biases, but at least they'll know aht they're talking about. (and no, I'm not holding my breath)

BTW, I think it's really dirty pool that Steingrabber stole all the Sox bats and replaced them with styrofoam.

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.

Though I grew up a Yankee loyalist, I wouldn't mind seeing the Red Sox rally and win (a tough hill to climb, with Curt Shilling out or less than 100% for a Game 5, though).

First, Steinbrenner had a fine shortstop in Derk Jeter, but signed A-Rod B4 the season mainly so the Red Sox couldn't. Also, I think their winning (the World Series) would actually give Kerry a boost, based on his hometown team finally "getting the monkey off their back".

It was announced a couple of hours ago that Shilling will not pitch Game 5 and may be out for the rest of the series.

Good luck Toronto, hopefully being the last team in Canada will get a few more seats sold.

Hell no.

I heard enough of Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy as it is. Those guys suck almost as much as Michael Kay.

I don't mind Joe Buck. Tim McCarver is an idiot but Al Leiter is contributing.

Wow, know what you are talking about before spouting off. First of all, its Schilling, not Shilling. He's not British currency.

DerEk Jeter.

And the Yankees traded for Rodriguez, he didn't sign him. They had to give up a very valuable player in Alfonso Soriano (granted, a player who spent last postseason striking out more than The Steamer at a club).

How the fuck would the Red Sox winning help Kerry? Ponderous.

I'm not the only one who ever made a typo, am I? And George still acted mainly to keep A-Rod from going to the Red Sox. Re. the effect on Kerry, its minimal, but (a World Series win) creates the "aura" of Boston = winning (during a quasi-wartime election). Let's keep our fights about you being an unreformed Annaholic seperate, OK?
