America Listen

What are we going to do? Why do Americans contiuously allow politicians to give it to them up the ass? This is really perplexing to me.Our country is supposed to be based on a government for the people and by the people. Is it?
I look at our two "viable" choices for President and I have to snicker. We have one man in office who acts like he wants to unleash Armageddon, and we have another candidate who acts like he,if elected, would be a pacifist for the globalists.
President Bush made a big,big mistake by going into Iraq right now.I think it was an eventual inevitability, but why now? After 9/11,most Americans loved how the President took the initiative and went into Afghanistan,et cetera. However, three years later,it almost seems like none of it ever happened as far as most Americans are concerned. His ratings have stayed between 45-50 percent for the last year.
One of the biggest problems that I see for Bush is that he refuses to admit any wrong doing. All many Americans want from a politician is honesty. That seems to be a bit too much to ask for.
Then we have Mr.Kerry. Oh,boy. Where do I start? He has spent 20 years in office as a senator and has never, not one time, even addressed many of the issues that he is running on!! All of a sudden he is Mr.Concerned. I once had much respect for Kerry;I thought that he would make a good President. Now,I am sitting around scratching my head asking," What the hell is this guy talking about? What the hell does he REALLY believe? What is this business, infatuation I should say, that Kerry has with the U.N?" I could ask a hundred more questions concerning Kerry.
I may or may not vote come Nov.2. I don't know. I do know one thing that is real, neither candidate particularly impresses me. It's the same ol' method of telling the people what they THINK they want to hear.

Truth is Chrissie, honesty counts for alot.I guarantee you that if Bush had came out and told the American people," You know what? I did,I did fuck up. I listened to what Cheney,Rumsfeld,Rice and Tenet told me,and I went into Iraq without fully knowing the details," he would not be in the trouble he is in today.Instead,he continues to cover for fear of appearing "weak."

If Bush admitted that Iraq was a mistake, that would be the biggest case of career-suicide ever committed!

That is,honesty SHOULD count for alot. But politics is just a power game, and the only reason why a politician will ever be honest is if he or she feels that it will get him or her more votes, not because it is "the right thing to do." First and foremost politicians want to get elected. And when they are in power they want to get elected again. And they will do whatever they think is necessary to achieve that.

That's what the common opinion is.I don't necessarily buy it though. If a politician were to be honest for a change,I think that most would respond positively. I don't know how well Europeans can relate to American politics, but our system is full of a bunch of liars and thieves.

It would probably be worse for him to publicise that his grandfather was one of the main contributers to Hitler's rise to power in Weimar Germany.

The Democratic Party today announced that it is changing its emblem from a Donkey to a CONDOM because it more accurately reflects the party's political stance.

A CONDOM...
1. Allows for inflation
2. Halts production
3. Destroys the next generation
4. Protects you from a bunch of pricks
5. Gives you a sense of security while
you're actually being screwed!

I'm neither pro-Kerry nor pro-Bush....but i saw this and thought it was funny!
