Hopefully Ambrose/Ritter can get back up to the lead.. But at least annoying Mark Skaife is miles behind...

Jim Richards was going up the mountain and a kangaroo hopped across the track. He pretty much nailed it with the left front corner of the car. I'm sure it was killed, judging by the way it took off. It flew up in the air and off to the side of the track. I think that Richards/Richards had to retire because of the damage.

They had in-car footage, as well as footage from the side of the track. It wasn't a pretty sight , and I doubt they will show it again

Damn...

Ugh.. Lucky for Holden that they got Murphey or else Ford would have cleaned them up.. He got first then there was like 6 Fords after him...

Oh well, lets take the championship now Ambrose!!

Yeah, there was a lot of blood being sprayed when the kangaroo hit the road / concrete barrier. Looking forward to the Animal Lib's comments on this tomorrow. Perhaps NPWS should kill all the kangaroos to avoid this. It disrupts the race*. Had me in tears. Nice work by channel ten on showing the slow motion replay

* Keep in mind that I'm an animal rights/greenie type girl. lol, and i despise NPWS.
Plus I;'m from south-western sydney so... go holden

Jonas Björkman - Oliver Marach - Jarkko Nieminen - Jürgen Melzer - Jim Thomas
°Crivoi - Djokovic - Koubek - Kunitsyn - Korolev - Klec°

Tamira Paszek - Alizé Cornet - Ana Ivanovic
Amélie Mauresmo - Jelena Jankovic
