What is your favourite TV commercial?

I have a few favourites. I think my favourite is the one where the guy is playing golf and he misses the putt by a longshot, and then everyone cheers and says 'Close Enough'. Obviously the Agassi commercial where hes picking up toys with a hopper is also a riot. and you?

I don't think I have seen the golf one. My favourite commercials are beer commercials - even though I don't like beer. Especially Molson commercials are pretty good. The one about the American astronaut playing golf on the moon only to be hit on the visor by a Canadian astronaut shooting puck cracks me every time I see it. There is another commercial playing right now (I don't know from which company) where a woman sleeps on a mans hand holding a beer so he couldn't drink his beer. He whispers to her that he loves her and when she rolls close to him in her sleep, he transfers the beer to his other hand.

Most of the cool Molson beer commercials are on this link: http://www.canada4life.ca/videos.php

I have a really good one coming out soon. I'm at this table at a fancy restaurant with this bi-racial dame who is ostensibly my granddaughter. They're trying to hit a demographic here, but I was a little confused, I mean, I'm half Irish/half Swedish, I never married a Black man, and the twins married white girls. Anyway, she's crapping on about her period and says she refuses to wear a pillow, so I pull some of those Tampax "Pearl Girl" things out of my purse and tell her that even though it's too late for me to take advantage of the "Pearl Girl" tampons, that they're the best thing I've ever seen and she should try them. Then, the last ten seconds, the scene cuts to us sitting by a big pool, and I'm in a robe on a lounge chair, and she comes up in a bathing suit, hugs me from behind, and says, "Grandma, you're so wise, I couldn't be happier or more comfortable." We share a knowing look and smile, and the ad ends.

It's brilliant. Maybe I can get an Emmy for best tampon ad.

Whitney Houston and her receipts:

I really like the southwest airlines commercials... like the one where the woman is snooping through the medicine cabinet and all the shelves fall out... or the more recent one where some people are working on a sand sculpture and a woman sneezes and blows away their work...

Of course my favorites are my own commercials for ICS (international correspondence school) and the save the children fund.

Blowing out someone else's candle does not make yours shine brighter.

I love the VW commercials. The particular one I liike is, The groom speeding to a church out in the country to break up a wedding. I love the music, the way it was shot and of course the car.

The Cingular wireless peak time one where people making calls after 9PM. Where that one guy runnning around the back yard making phone calls in the dark and gets attacked by that jumping dog.

Foster Farms chicken pair always funny too...pepperoni, it was sausage!

Winners forget they're in a race, they just love to run. You try too hard.
