At the MOBOS, Anita Baker throws hissy fit over Janet Jackson's involvement

Gongs for Jamelia as diva rows
SENSATIONAL singer Jamelia was named queen of the MOBOs last night, after scooping three prestigious awards.
The amazed Brummie bagged UK Act of the Year, Best Single, for Thank You, and Best Video, for See It In A Boy's Eyes.
But her wins were almost overshadowed by a row of diva-esque proportions...
Frantic organisers were almost forced to scrap their Lifetime Achievement award last night when winner Anita Baker refused to accept it from Janet Jackson.
The 46-year-old soul diva, whose biggest UK hit is Sweet Love, was anything but sweet when she heard the plans.
"Anita threw a real hissy fit," reveals an insider at the bash, held at the Royal Albert Hall. "She was really angry that Janet was presenting her award.
"The organisers spent ages calming her down. We think she just didn't want to be upstaged. There's also the fact that in the US, Janet is still associated with her 'Nipplegate' blunder at the Super Bowl."
Our source confides: "In the end, the organisers basically told Anita that Janet was the biggest star on the night and if she had a problem with that, she wouldn't get the award at all.
"In the end, Anita gave in and, through gritted teeth, agreed to it."
We won't expect a Baker/ Jackson collaboration any time soon, then! Both divas, however, were upstaged by the real star of the night - Jamelia.
