Oprahs show to get women and minorities to vote

Okay i know alot of people on here have differing political views. I dont agree with everything republicans do and im sure the feeling is the same for many of you democrats.
ONe thing i have to know is
HOW RIDICULOUS was CAMERON DIAZ on Oprahs show. I really felt like I got dumber everytime she spoke.
" If you dont vote rape could be legal"
Her going on and on about Blacks being lynched and made to sit in the back of the bus like this was some new realization she had. THanks for the history lesson but most of us normal people realize the history of this country and horrible things that went on.
Her statng that if women and minorities didnt vote it could go back to the old times again. HEr crying because Drew Barrymore took a year off of making her millions of dollars to learn about politics. Their are women in the audience and watching who probably struggle to get a week off of work. BUT she was so proud of DREW. hmmm cant think of anything else but it was absurd. Anyone else witne

We dont have that show over here, but I wish i could have watched it. But your title is misleading as it was Diaz and not Oprah, who was encouraging minorities and women to vote in the upcoming elections.
Has Oprah indicated who she is going to vote for?
Were any of those quotes taken out of context perchance?

Oprah remains strictly non-partisan, but you know who she is voting for

She's always on the good side

Oprah's very media savvy and didn't get to where she
is by not being smart about it all.

Oprah has her views on many issues but, when it comes
to politics she knows how to walk that fine line as not
to alienate any of her fan base.

She just wants them to vote!

The titles not misleading this was the actual goal of the show. I dont think Oprah did anything wrong except maybe not question Cameron on her ridiculus remarks
