Just saw a report on the voting procedures in Florida ...

It was said that they now have electronical voting machines, but obviously they aren't very safe and reliable, and the votes can't even be re-counted later.

And why have these machines in the first place? Why don't they just make a cross on a piece of paper and put it into a box?

Because Jeb wanted to make sure his state had a procedure in tact to try to assure his brother the win in Florida.

I live in Florida and have used the new voting machines, they are very nice. Also they fixed the can't recount the votes problem because the machine prints out the votes cast at the end of the election.

I thought that the votes could be recounted but they won't be because it's so accurate that there's no need... or something like that. I dunno... I saw a report on it once but I'm in love with the reporter and was too busy drooling.
