The War against Al Qaeda: Any good news

They did attack 'us', us being the USA. They almost seem to have dropped out of the news, except as a ssource of training for suicide bombers. Have any of you read or seen anything that indicates that we're closer to capturing or killing our actual assailants?

There aren't even armed infantry at the bridges and tunnels into New York any more. We're every bit a vulnerable as before 9/11, and of course, a lot more people hate us. (I concede they're justified.)

Proud to be an American
Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

Does any of you even worry about Al Qaeda anymore?

do a few 19 year olds armed with M-16s standing at the entrance of a tunnel REALLY make you feel any better?

....This is fucked up, fucked up....

This is your blind spot, blind spot.
It should be obvious, but it's not.

You cannot kickstart a dead horse
You just crush yourself and walk away
I don't care what the future holds
Cause I'm right here in your arms today
With your fingers you can touch me

I'll be your black swan, black swan
I'm for spare parts, broken up.
