Film 'Memento' can someone explain it to me?

Just watched it this evening and i dont really get it.
Too many twist for even me to get my head around?

Well, it kinda hard to explain but its like umm... backward slide, I think. I watched this movie in a long time ago and can't remember much, though.

i watched it long time ago, but for me it was interresting. Great film, i liked that it wasnt "stock".

Hurley is telling you it! For the fun I watched it "right" once, nothing special then (except you go nuts from rewinding).
But y'all gotta admit it's great the first time! I went to see it without any knowledge (except a hottie and a great director), and the first half hour I was like wooooooooooow, wtf??!!

If I could remember correctly, the story told in chronological order is pretty simple: You can get a table which explains the story from front to back, or is that back to front?, in this page: http://www.designpattern.org/mementofaq.htm

Yes, the script is mediocre but this is one of the few movies I have seen where the structure of the movie or the style the story is told is closely linked with the content of the script or the main subject matter of the movie. So, I wouldn't call the whole movie mediocre.
