Trulli fired! Villeneuve takes his place and drives Sauber in 2005

Jarno Trulli confirmed that he has quit the Renault team from now, while Renault announced that former World Champion Jacques Villeneuve will test for them at the Silverstone circuit this week.

So Trulli has been fired and more lickely Villenuve replaces him in the last 3 Grand Prix'.

C'mon Belgians

Actually it has been known that Trulli would be leaving anyway so they just dumped him sooner rather than later. There was quite a bit of tension.

I'm sure Jarno is a heck of a lot happeir now. The atmosphere in that team has been bad for a while, and Jarno making his own announcement previously about leaving the team left us all in no doubt that no love was lost there. I suppose this isn't really a surprise to be honest! What'll be interesting will be seeing who takes the race seat- JV or the current Renault test driver, Frank Montagny? Also, how will they perform at such short notice, esp. JV? Can't wait for China!

Jen, is it cold out there or are you just pleased to see me?

Interesting, Trulli did say about how his car had been performing bas since he had talks with Toyota, so I think Flav's had enough. I heard just last week that Villeneuve was going to have talks with Toyota about next season.

DANIELA IN 2010

And all the best for Elena
