Flemish Coalitions

What one would you prefer? They're all horrible IMO

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

a non-majority coallition....

which means, let for example leterme and spa form a coalition, and then all the parties 'll have on every subject to decide if they vote for or against, not always voting the things of your coallition....

I do'nt think I'm perfectly clear but I guess you understand....

They're coming to get you Barbara!

Indeed. Even more instability.

I'm afraid we get instability anyway
let's imagine cd&v sossen and groen:can't hold because, cd&v sandwitched between the two lefts can't put up the "nva" positions=>Bourgeois gets malcontent (stabbed in the back) leaves, and then we can vote again

cd&v vld and groen: groen can't do this, otherwise they lose the next elections again.....
tripartite vld spa cd&v completely impossible to work something out because of the differences:then the situation is the same as in Antwerp, and next elections only vlaams-blok can grow
idem with the four together....
then there's still cd&v vl blok...maybe I'd like that too because then we lose cd&v and vl blok the next elections
but cd&v can't do this.....

my system is the only one in which vl blok CAN be the main loser.....

They're coming to get you Barbara!

I would like to see how the VB would try to govern, i simply know by now that they will either not do the full term or will be punished at the next elections.

if leterme & bourgeois don't want to (which is understandable as they will be punished alongside the VB) if would like to see CD&V-NVA / SPA-SPIRIT / GROEN.

I would really really detest the classic 'tripartite', as this will be quarreling every single day

I have no solution whatsoever anyway. The traditional tripartite would have the advantage that the 3 main political parties have to work together. But they better think everything over beforehand, otherwise it would indeed be quarreling and another win for the VB (but where the hell do their voters keep coming from ).

It will be the first. With the VB trying to blame their coalition partner for everything.

apparently groen! doesnt want to be in government, so we're most likely headed for a tripartite

I voted for CD&V/Vlaams Blok, because with the Vlaams Blok in the government, maybe some issues can be solved, eg: immigrant voting right (vreemdelingenstemrecht voor als de vertaling ni zo goe is), more Flemish independance... And when that's all solved by the next Flemish elections, they can be thrown out again.
Other option would be CD&V/VLD/SPA, only because I want the VLD to stay

I don't see how the words "Vlaams Blok" and "solving issues" can be in the same sentence without NOT in between. They only have fake-oneliner-anwers for the problems.

I voted for CD&V/Vlaams Blok, because the Fasictic and Racistisc Vlaams Blok can only stopped when they get in the government, The only goal for the Vlaams Blok is racism against wallonië. If they fail in the flemish parlement, they can be stopped in the more important federal elections. Withouth entering in the gouvernment they will grown again in our egoistic, racistic and fascistic flandern and they will be a treat for the Belgian union.
Flandern is the 6th rich region in europe and still the flemish people don't have enough. I am ashamed to be Flemish.

I'd like to see a coalition without the socialists, for a change. Somehow the socialists are always in! OTOH, the sossen are more competent than the greens so I voted for the tripartite.

The VB will get its chance to govern and mess up after the next elections, when mayors will be voted directly.

Everything you do continues long after you've gone

Very classy of Groen to keep their promise about not entering the government! After which Letherm replyed; "I see that Groen is not taking up his responsibility!". The formation has not even begun and Letherme is already kicking around! What a positive alternative he offers He feels he will have to need the others so the others can have demands aswell. I see a very shaky coallition ahead with only one winner; Vlaams Blok.

At least a coalition with the socialists.
But all the possible combinations suck...I prefer purple, no CD&V and NV-A. Too bad that's not an option anymore
