Unhappy Frances Shand Kydd, Princess Diana's Mother, Dies At Age 68

She died last week after suffering from a long illness. When I get the obituary, I will post it.

yeah, she died a while ago.

poor girl, she lived a sad, tragic life, yet was such an inspiration to so many poeple.

i loved diana and Frances was wonderfull too. Such a soul.

Had this Frances person not raised the winner of the (circa 1980) "Golddiggers Derby" how many ppl would have even heard of her?

Why was Frances Shand Kydd such a wonderful person? I think the jury is still out on that one. A rather controversial character actually, although she was stiched up in the custody battle over the young Lady Diana Spencer.
