Help!Popups!

When I leave the computer on for the night, There are literally 50 of them on the screen. They are saying porns detected on the computer, to you are the Winner of something. Its really annoying. I dont know if it is a virus, or a worm, but its taken over my internet explorer!! Theres this thing, called the I-lookup.com bar and it wont go away. And every time I cancel a page, the page says Action Cancelled, The writing say Internet Explorer and posts it as a link to I-hookup.com. What should and can do?? Its sooo annoying!

http://www.mozilla.org

Use Firefox.

Also, go to http://www.download.com

Search for AdAware.

Run the program. Delete the crap it says to delete.

Probably most likely solved.

I'd say it's probably spyware... not a virus.

Anyway, do what I said. Please run Ad-Aware or Spybot.

The scanning seems to activate the popups. I downloaded Ad-aware 6.0. I hope it lets me delete them because the last program I d/l, it would let me.

I have to be more carefull at what I download, because my Windows Media wont work, Ive already installed it twice, but Ill just do it again. Also on my Add, Remove programs theres this netpal games and shit. It wont go away.

Turn off you pc and restart it in safe mode, THEN run you scan. If you run your scan in normal mode, spyware will boot with your pc and run so that you cannot delete it.

Spybot forces you to do this... however, you can still detect all forms of spyware by running it in normal mode, you just can't delete all of them.
