City of God...Amazing film...

Saw it over the weekend and LOVED it...I am not into reading while I watch a movie (Y Tu Mamie Tambien was the only other one I can think of ) but this film is so worth..Ultra violent but sooooo gooood....

Movies I have seen recently and loved:

House of Sand and Fog....
Dirty Pretty Things...
Mystic River...
Monster...
City of God...
The Cooler...
21 Grams...

Official Gangsta rappa of the Royal Court

Will you be there?

I never quite understood what's so good about that movie I really thought it was overhyped....would the same movie been made in the US, no one would talk about it....

They're coming to get you Barbara!

Yep.

Great movie.

Seen it 4 times just to make sure I didn't miss anything while I was reading. (seen Y Tu Mama multiple times too).

I was soooo tense during the bike racing scene; great stuff.

If you liked it and 21 grams, don't miss "Amores Perros"

If anyone is interested in some movies with a homosexual tone to it that are just great:

The Mudge Boy and Twist are both very good. If anyone lives near NYC they can watch these films at the Quad Cinemas on 13th St. between 5th and 6th Ave
