He definitely should not resign and should remain as our Govenor General, he is a wonderful person, his 25+ years of voluntary services to the St Vincent De Paul and other charities is outstanding. He's an amazing man that has done so much good with his life. I recommend that anyone should watch the documentary on his life before making a judge on this.

Its all the catholic church wanting to dethrown him and bring him down with these exaggerated lies. The media is trumping it up as much as possible making it into this huge controversy. Its disgusting and sickening that the Catholic church and others are trying to ruin a fine man's reputation and lifelong achievements just for their own gains.

Sir William was the last G-G Steven

Peter Hollingsworth is G-G now...

Per, When he was a Archbishop he, over a number of years and on a number of occassions, either covered up or outright dismissed evidence of sexual abuse against minors of both sexes.

This is not a slur job by the catholic church either. There have been many many polls over the last week, with all having the same outcome, either sack him, or he should resign. The Prime minister won't sack him because Hollingsworth is the choice of John and Janette Howard (PM and his wife) for the job. The G-G won't resign.....

Just to make it interesting, The Queen arrives Tomorrow....

Would you like to keep the Queen while she's there???

We'll have Cathy Freeman in return.

Are the Commonwealth Games given much credibility in Oz? Or indeed the Commonwealth in general? Does it matter to Aussies?

Manchester City 2011 FA Cup winners! 2012 Premier League Champions! 2014 League Cup winners and Premier League Champions! At last!!!!!

Depends on how well we do

No, actually the commonwealth games are very popular. I think our swimmers see it as the biggest warm-up event to the olympics

We have enough queens of our own thanks, we don't need yours

Well, they like the queen in New Zealand, so that's what matters.

The new stadium where the athletics takes place this year, is stunning...

Of course we would top the medals table...if only we competed as Britain instead of seperately.

We just like giving you a chance. A head start if you will.
