Did anyone see Bush's speech on US torture of Iraqi prisoners?

The American press say reaction was 'skeptical', which is only to be expected.

Al-Jazeera/English doesn't even have it on the front page, a pretty clear indicator they think it's propaganda and nothing more.

The US military has thus far refused to rule out keeping prisoners naked for days at a time despite the Islamic nudity taboo. I think the Bush administration thinks Iraq it's like the USA. We SAY we have a nudity taboo. There are lawas against public nudity. But we produce and consume more pornography than anyone else in the world. It's tough for an American to understand a nudity taboo that actually affects people.

Proud to be an American
Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.
