I have to say - I've never seen so many Canadian flags in one day!

People were waving them all over the place- my freinds went and bought some flags just so they could drape them on their cars and go downtown with them.

People have been running around campus with flags wrapped around themsevles and hockey jerseys - its hilarious!

And of course, congrats to the mens speed skaters who won the relay, and all the other athletes who showed up and win or lose, represented Canada well

It sure is great to be Canadian
It was like chaos in Vancouver...huge, happy crowds closed down part of Vancouver's downtown, and like it seemed like every car had a flag or two (or three or four) flying out of it's windows, everyone honking...and we're proud out here because it was Burnaby Joe who was the MVP! And Kariya wasn't so bad today either!
Anyways, for those people who think Canadians aren't patriotic enough because of world affairs and stuff...well just give us our hockey games and the gold medals that we should rightfully have and we're the tightest bunch in the world
