Have you ever realized that its easier to get an AIM Screename that go to the trouble of setting up a hotmail account?

I have my hotmail accout, which is my primary e-mail account, yet I still like AIM better than MSN Messenger...that's what many ppl end up doing.

So *gasp* yes most people have heard of MSN cus *gasp* we've all heard about Microsoft.

I Distinctly Dislike chat programs because they Bastardize Benefit of e-mail: NOT being "obliged" to answer someone "right then and there".

honestly, msn is bloatware. also MOST microsoft programs, are full of holes and poorly coded/written *cough**cough* IE *cough**cough*. MSN being no expection.

now AIM is no angel, and honestly the best instant messager out there is really YIM, with more features than MSN without the bloate and software holes.

inaddition to all that, most of your friends have to be using the SAME service or a trillian like service. now no one i know uses or is INTERESTED in using MSN. some of my friends are using YIM but most use AIM. i have both and just wantted to make AIM PURRTY!.

which skin are you suing?

also you may have to DOWNGRADE to an OLDER version of AIM.

*** Important Note: aiMutation is currently only compatible with AIM versions 5.1.3030 through 5.5.3415. Links are provided below for two of the AIM clients that provide the best experience. ***

http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=aim

and download this version:
AOL Instant Messenger 5.2.3292

i know it many seem like a pain but the LATEST version of is CRAP! and unstable so in the end you are better of anyway.

addtion, you shold get averthing working with the native skin (a blue ish on that looks like XP) and then download a new skin.

I just saw that on The Screen Savers last night. Very cool. I agree with the people that like AIM the best. I never liked, MSN. I tried it, and always went back to AIM. Now that I am on a Mac and iChat (AIM) is intergrated into the OS I am a very happy person.

Yeah I use AIM more the MSN, but I still use MSN too because some people I talk to don't have AIM

I personally started out with MSN, and I was a major MSN supporter, then I saw ALL my friends used AIM. So I made the switch, and honestly I like it a lot more.

And if you add DEADAIM to the newest AIM version, its even more amazing.

...I liked YIM, but not enough people around me use it so I ended up uninstalling.
