Canada vs the USA Predictions?

Its not the final I wanted - I wanted us to play Russia, the all time great international team - but oh well, we'll have to settle for the US

I REALLY want Canada to win - its been a llloooonnngggg time coming.

But it will be tough.

Well I know who I want to win but I'm keeping away from predictions!

Same here!

I don't wan to predict the US to win, cause it will end up being the one time I'm right about hockey

On the otherhand I don't want to jinx them and pick Canada to win.

Its going to be a stressful Sunday!!!

Note to self - stop by beer store before Sunday...

Well, it all depends on how they skate in the short program and the marks by the judges....

Oh that shouldn't be a problem Seles.

The choreography of the Canadian team is far more difficult than that of the Americans.

Their ability to interpret the techno music in the background cannot be matched. Their artistic merit is at its all time best when "Who let the Dogs Out" is blaring.

LOL!!!

I wanted the CZECH TEAM win the gold medal...

but I am with Canada on Sunday.

I think the americans have more chances to win; they play good, have lots of shots on goal... and they play at home...

GOOD LUCK, CANADA!!!

Now I'll be happy no matter who wins.

Becca, I told you the US would beat Russia :P

Good luck to both teams... but, go USA!

I'm going to use reverse psychology, that usually does it for me. Canada 4-3. That really means USA 4-3!

I hope the referee is Russian!

i hope CANADA will win
but the referee wll make it right for the USA

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood

Becca:

The Canadian skaters already got their help from the judges when the judges didn't mark Bourne and Kraatz behind Drobiazko and Vanagas in the ice dancing despite the fact that the Canadians fell badly in their routine.

BTW: Did anybody else notice that the Russian judge placed Sarah Hughes *TENTH* in the short program, despite the fact that every other judge had her in the top six?
