Facts... about Whelks

Whelks live predominently on rocks or in networks of caves and seperate colonies can reach up to 4,000,000. That's just for one colony!

Whelks don't have hearts. Their entire body is made up of one stand-alone gland.

It is impossible to cross-breed whelks with clams, humans, elks, yaks, shoes, mice and crabs

The world's richest whelk lives in Lucerne, Switzerland. Madame Beau Chateauneufdupape left her 62 million estate to her pet whelk Bob.

A whelks average diet consists of salt, munchies, salt, powdered egg, salt, worcestershire sauce, and salt.
