Congratulations to Germany in the Olympics

They have 31 medals which is the all-time record for Winter Olympics, previously set by Norway in 94 (and maybe 98).

Much has been said about the American team winning a record medals for them, not many people have noticed Germany's excellent Olympics!

CONGRATULATIONS GERMANY!!!!!!!!

Yes, congrats to Germany! I watched that girl Anni (won't attempt her last name) skate to a new world record in 1500m last night! They seem to be on fire!

Congrats! Hopefully they'll surpass that number and hold the record on their own!

Germany won 29 medals in Nagano. It is not a surprise that they do great olympics in salt lake. germany is the recordholder, not Norway. Germany has broken its own record.

Scotso, Anni's last name is Friesinger.

CONGRATS Germany!!!

These record-breaking medal tallies are a bit pointless since the number of events has exploded in Salt Lake. Not worth comparing to Nagano.

The Germans are certainly doing exceptionally well, but the Norwegians shouldn't be discarded either. 10 golds so far to a country of 4 million people.

You are somewhere right, iconoclast. Norway has only 4 million people, but lots of snow compared to germany.

Yes they are having a great run. I'm sure they will win more these games.

I think this is a nice rebound for Germany from their disappointment at the summer games 2 years ago.

Congratulations to Germany!
