Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Okay, I'm seeing two viable options right now: The first involves Caro having a newfound affection for Doubles so that she has a chance to hang around longer at these Slams if she's upset early in Singles. The second option is simply having a more consistent Caroline

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

^ I doubt she start playing double she said she only like playing singles but I love too see her playing double for it too help her with net skills but I guess you never know she said she never get a new coach at the beginning of the year. I think she need too work on improving certain area of her game in order too get consistent again, I do think she will regroup again & having consistent result but some improvement need too be made. I wonder how her new racket coming along ?

She should use this time to experiment with rackets and strings. She has to stop saying she uses the same strings for years. You cant do that anymore. You need the best possible racket & string combination for your particular game.
She has to get smarter. She's not good on grass. Never won past round 3 at Wimbledon.
Vika understands how important the AO is. Its a hardcourt major & Vika is ready for it. Caroline has to be ready for the AO & USO.
Thats priority 1, 2 and 3. Be healthy and in form for each hardcourt major. You cant play your way into the year so you peak at Indian Wells. You have to peak in Melbourne & NY.

^ Agreed I hoping she can atleast make 4th-QF at last Major & have a great Summer Hardcourt Season as well she need some wins. As for as the racket Yonex should be close too finish making her own racket so many that one work for her hopefully but i looking more forward too next year & seeing who her coach going be as well as how she improve

Caro's best buddy now has a solid shot at a first slam; if Aga wins, then she'll surely invite Caroline to one of the celebration parties, right?

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Aga is still far away. Li, then Lisicki then Kvitova. Thats not easy.
Same for Caro this summer. Serena will still be there. Vika & Maria will be there. Plus, Aga, Li, Kvitova, Kanepi, Stosur, Errani and all the young players coming up. And players who are getting healthier and better like Vesnina and Lisicki.

Its not going to be easy. Its already a struggle for Caro, thats playing Muguruza and Voegele. Its an uphill fight from where Caro is now.
She just went about 9 or 10 tournaments since IW, and lost her 1st or 2nd match in all but one, and in that one event, Caro lost to Hampton.
I'd say Caroline has a big uphill climb ahead of her, and it wont be easy, not at all

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

^ she need too find a way too get back in the mix through, U look at Jelena who seem too gotten back in the mix in the slam & event, beside the fact she lost early at Wimby she been doing pretty well, I think that some thing caro gotta do, I hoping do it don't take as long as it took Jelena Through so hopefully she can rebound soon

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

In re the (typical)snotty tone from 3922, Caro's friend winning W would be a heck of a more likely than the unusual results that have ALREADY happened at this year's event.Sure, there are obstacles, but not damning ones.If Caro can't get the big prize, then I wouldn't mind it if her faithful amiga took it

Indeed. Those 3 are about the 4-1 mark.

Aga is part of a 2nd tier group, all around 14-1.

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Aga won, plays Sabine, Petra still there. I think this generation is going to win over 10 majors.
Right now Vika has 2 and Petra one. Pretty good chance the 4th is this Saturday.
I dont know if Caro will ever get back in the mix. I hope they work smart. She has a lot to overcome now, and they have to be smarter about everything. Racket, strings, style of play, practice sessions, everything has to be done right. And make sure Caroline is ready for the hardcourt majors

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Aga's chances for a Wimbledon title got better with Kvitova losing. The Radwanska-Lisicki winner should be favored in the final.
Those are Caro's buddies from juniors, and Poland events. Of course, Lisicki and Caro bumped at Wimbledon

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Lisicki & Caro were friends at once ? I thought they never was friends anyway I going for Aga, But it kinda sad too see Caro not going deep in these events like she used too she really need too regroup and get a fresh start, You look at Aga and how well she has done over the last 2 years with her new coach I wonder can the same be said about caro

Caro and Vika used to be friends up til around when Vika won a slam, now they aren't really. Perhaps it's just a coincidence, perhaps it's not.
