Cincy is listed on her schedule on her official website.

Captain Matthew Gideon: I may have an idea.
Dureena Nafeel: I don't think you've recovered from your last good idea.
Captain Matthew Gideon: That would explain it.

I know, but what if it doesn't work out? I wonder if she's seriously considering going back to Babolat.

Officially you will know next week if she's entered or not. TheBoiledEgg said she isn't entered a couple of weeks ago though, and they were right about the players that are skipping Toronto. There was still time for her to enter then though. I certainly think she should enter. I think she has to make all effort to attempt to to qualify for Istanbul, to at least feel a part of the elite. She can't afford to be skipping Premier 5s to achieve that goal. I mean lets not be kidding ourselves, 2000 points is a big ask whatever schedule she plays.

^^ she "only" needs to win the USO

kidding...at the moment the most important thing is that she gets healthy again

may your choices reflect your hopes not your fears.

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

This is somewhat moot now, but this is some very interesting analysis of Caro's loss to Hampton.

http://www.changeovertennis.com/key-...ine-wozniacki/

"On the other hand, Caroline Wozniacki only managed to win 56% of her Key Points through aggressive shots of her own. Naturally, thousands upon thousands of words have been written about how Wozniacki’s tendency to wait out for her opponent’s errors for large stretches of matches has been to blame for her lack of success at the Slams (personally, I think it’s more about her forehand and her second serve). However, it is striking to see such a discrepancy in the way each woman approached the Key Points of yesterday’s semifinal."

"Yep: Wozniacki won more Key Points via Point-Ending Shots in the two sets she lost than in the one she actually managed to win. I guess this is the paradox of Caroline Wozniacki: she’s clearly at home (and has been wildly successful) driving her opponents crazy with her above-average consistency. Yet when her opponents stop missing, she feels like she has to force the action more…but can’t match her foes’ aggression."

"Here’s something Caroline (and Piotr) won’t like to hear: of the 9 Key Points handed out by Karolina via unforced errors, 6 came from her best shot: the cross-court backhand."

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

As for as the coaching my bad if no one agree that Matt Wilander will be a good coach for her but I thought I bring it up due too the fact he said he like too work with her. I Notice that alot former Player & coaches through wanna coach Caro from Chrissie Evert, Martina Navratilova, Matt Wilander, & Antonio Van Grichen. I Anxious too see what coach they will chose come end year That might be best news so far.

I'm sure he would make a great coach... He understands her game, its strengths and what could be improved. He has the right tactical mindset too. The issue however, is who is a great coach that suits Caro's temprement and personality as well, and can comunicate their ideas to her.

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Any guy who says Federer has no balls is a goof. Why would you want him anywhere near Caroline?

Anyway, her career is in total crisis now. She doesnt win ANY tournaments in 2013. She only has 1 YEC win all year, Kerber, who has a lot of bad losses this year.

She needs a coach who gets her to be consistent again. I dont see how she can ever develop the weapons to overcome being inconsistent.
She has to get back to her 2010-2011 form where she can keep points long and attack with her backhand.
She is nowhere near that now.

^ I wouldn't judge him for wat he said about Federer i will judge him on wat he can do for caroline too help her improve & get back on track, I mean Safina coach Željko Krajan wasn't the nicest person but he did wonder with safina & took her all the way to the top so to judge of personality is the wrong way to go, need to judge of wat can He/She can do too help her get back in the mix

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

I dont think people understand how dire this situation is.
Caro was at the top of the sport 2 years ago. Now she is light years from winning a major. She cant get thru any draw, any surface, anymore.

She needs real help from someone who understands why she fell so far. Not someone who insults great players so flippantly.

She needs one plan, within her skillset by someone who can get her back to where she was before her dad & team destroyed her.
And by the looks of this current situation, she's far away from contending for big titles

I think everyone understand that & I not saying Matt Wilander should coach her I saying he said he would like too coach her just like many other such as Chrissie Evert, Martina Navratilova, & Antonio Van Grichen & I also saying u can't judge coaches over there personality or wat they said in the past but what they can bring too the table too help an player improve that what we should be looking for when she get her new coach He/She whoever they are

Well, the idiot almost had the last part coming. If you had really read the original post before I deleted it at Burisleif's request, you'd agree that the thrust was a criticism of SVEN and his unreliability as a coach for Caroline. Very little criticism was made of Ana herself; much more was said of Sven and APDP's poor guidance of her career, and that bears directly on whether or not Sven should be coaching Caroline on her serve after he's already ruined at least one other player's service motion.I can't help the fact that the U.S. has the most pathetically-low reading comprehension scores in the industrialized world...or that their byproducts, such as our troll visitor, have nonexistent deductive reasoning skills

@Goldenlox: Since you're sinking to new depths, why not explore even further? Why stop with forming alliances with semi-literate gringo trolls who barely give a damn about Caroline? Go ahead and link up with rapists and heroine dealers while you're at it

Trey, I realize that you were probably only offering an example and not endorsing Krajan as a coach, but even someone similar to Krajan wouldn't likely be the right coach for Caroline. I have some vivid memories from my fanship of Dinara when Krajan used language that might've made some ATP players cry.If you recall a recent coaching timeout that was translated for us,Caroline even told her dad that he was making her uncomfortable, so having a coach who uses brutally honest language might not be the best way to go for Caroline
