Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Have tried for a while to limit the scope of my posts here at TF and have, thusly, not posted in Caro's articles and interviews thread......but I'll be lurking in that thread from time to time in the next couple days to see what Caroline had to say about this loss.If she truly isn't bothered by it at all, then she really IS becoming like the Czech wastoid, only with a higher-quality male companion

If she would genuinely rather get married and be a mother than play tennis, then there's nothing disgraceful about that, but her current approach and results are a joke and embarrassment to the Tour

WTA suffering from Dementieva withdrawal, a lack of true queens

Congrats on Number Three, Kim! We need more of you in this world

I just hoping we hear some news this year about her making an change, where it an change of the racket, taking some time off from tennis, or finding a coach which I hoping she does the most too improve.

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Here's a table with the # of losses that Caro has had after winning the 1st set. This includes today's loss to Jovanovski:

2013: 4
2012: 6
2011: 3
2010: 1
2009: 4

Captain Matthew Gideon: I may have an idea.
Dureena Nafeel: I don't think you've recovered from your last good idea.
Captain Matthew Gideon: That would explain it.

This is exactly why she hasn't won a Slam. She simply doesn't have a champion's mentality

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

I wish we got some real insight from her team, this form she has shown since IW is shockingly bad. She really needs to take a break for good. Showing up to play this level isn't worth it for a top player.

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 6

Not shock she said that but Like I said if her result don't change through out the year I like too see what sorta change she willing too make, Her clay season has been Awful So I hoping she get an WC into Brussell just too get some win, My Hope are not too high for RG Niether At the most I like too see her make an 4th but her losing every round on clay event not good. I truly like too see her Improve as a player & Fulfill her Potential & get back into the mix with the top player, but she going have too find a way outta this slump first

Quite a few Sharapova fans were saying similar things near the end of 2010/beginning of 2011. "Retire Maria" was a common post. I suspect that she is very happy that she did not listen to them. There is no polishing this turd, Caroline is currently in a dire situation but that hardly means that she will always be in that situation. She is about to turn twenty-three years old. There is still time for her to turn her career around.

Well, if she can scrape some wins together it could help her to do better at Roland Garros. Arguably she has nothing to gain but equally she doesn't really have anything to lose. At this point will one more opening match loss really matter?

Caro playing mixed? That's a shocker, I hope wikipedia is right though I have my reserves.

Brussels... meh I'd skip it.
