Re: Caroline's Live Scoring Thread v 10

I haven't really been paying attention but has Caroline abandoned the "new" service motion, particularly what she was doing with her feet, that we saw at Wimbledon?

Whew!! She has dodged a major bullet here, losing this would have been too much, even for this season.

Aw, great smile from Caroline as she was walking off of the court. I hope that we see more of that smile for the rest of the year.

46 63 62. Not one of Caro's best matches but at least she wasn't close to losing. 1R is never easy as seeds such as Stosur, li Na and Cibulkova found out.

I never should have doubted you, there was no way that Caroline was losing this match.

Here's another pearl ... 'We don't know, when Caroline will play again. Probably in a few days time. Neither do we know, whom Caroline will be playing against" ..... My goodness. That muppet makes Bradnam and Simon Reed sound like Tennis PhDs

Relieved that she got through, but boy, she had me worried.

Partly. She is still using a slightly wider stance, than pre change. Right ankle was quite heavily strapped though, so could be playing in - either way.
