No wonder Caroline hasn't been doing well. She's been replaced by Carline.

Ok draw for Caro. A good result would probably be a 3rd round match against Hantuchova.

Good luck Caro.

Hey now, I get enough grammar critiques from the Mexican contingent. I know darn well that I am not the only one that misspells the odd word yet I seem to be the only one that draws criticism for it. You guys are giving me a complex.

Protoss just made a typo by going too fast...and here you are whining when Caroline had a nice win over the hometown girl...not enough apocalyptic material for you, huh?

EDIT:Just re-read and saw that Protoss was merely correcting YOUR f-up

I think Caroline was fortunate to draw Anne K instead of Paszek, Goerges or Mchale, among others.
Caroline has to sort out what she wants to do with her forehand. Right now, its so weak that she wont beat many top 30 players

Am a little surprised that there hasn't been more complaining from my other fave's forum about Caro getting Centre Court.Just give it your best today,Sunshine, and try to at least make the QFs....where your opponent MIGHT default with a serious stomach virus from eating British food

Some might disagree, but Wicky once made a grass court final at Birmingham IIRC,so I call this a nice win for Caroline...and she'll likely have another good challenge ahead since Dani appears to be finding some measure of form.Still,Caro is the better player and has a very good shot if she plays near her best

She looked better than round 1 here. It looked more like the Paszek match. Wickmayer had about 12 break points. She made too many errors.
Next is Hantuchova. Could be very dangerous.

Some might disagree, but it won't be me. Wickmayer seems really comfortable on grass, with a 23-12 record on this surface, to 63-47 on hard court. Besides, she's also a solid top 20-30 player and one you can't underestimate. So yes, that's a good win for Caroline.

I am afraid, at this moment in time, anyone inside top ... 100, is very dangerous for Caroline .. but agree, Caroline played better today than she did against Keothavong.

I cannot figure her racket tension out. Today it looked (and sounded) something like middle of the 21 - 27 range, she's been using ..

Okay, you're a 'local'...or one of the closest to it that we've got...so we're counting on YOU to make/sabotage meal preparations for Serena prior to her possible QF with Caroline. We don't want you to poison her,God forbid--just see to it that she receives the sort of typical British meal that has made England the culinary laughingstock of Europe.Caroline has already beaten her when she was full strength, but Sunshine might need a little help on grass.....So,if Umpire Killer looks to be suffering from uncontrollable barfing combined with the runs, then we'll know that we partly have YOU to thank for Caro's SF berth
