One match at a time. That really should be the Caro board mantra for a while.

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 5

Still several hours to round 1. Its been years since Caroline went into a French Open without any title.
The only way she saves this year is with a slam win, or final with great effort.
Step 1 today

Yeah. I still think she can have a great career. Hall of Fame , several majors.
But she has to start playing like a great player again. Now would be a good time to start

Tough draw for Caro but that seems to be the norm of late. Caro losing in the 1st or 2nd round would be a regression, losing in the 3rd round would be status quo. Caro making it to the 4th round would be progress.

Good luck Caro.

And since both Li and Bartoli have loads of points to defend Caro might go up a spot, maybe two if she plays well and they lose early.

Yeah, she has a Miami SF & AO QF. Dubai SF & Copenhagen final. She should stay top 10 no matter what. Then New Haven & USO will be tough to defend, unless she starts playing better. She has to start going deep into premier 5's again. Start putting win streaks together of more than 4(her 2012 longest so far)

On to round 2. Caroline cant look ahead. She has to bring her best every round. Serena just showed what can happen if you dont close and let your opponent hang around

Gajdosova next. Caro leads the H2H 5-0 (last three matches were played last year) but they have never met on clay and every match is different so we'll see

WOZNIACKI - A. RADWANSKA - MCHALE - SPANISH PLAYERS

Gee, I wonder what happened to shorten those odds?

But first things first, Jarmilla's got to go!

Gajdosova is not a very tough opponent. Kanepi will be the first challenge for Caro,IMO.

No, I didn't know.

Did you know who Gajdosova had her biggest loss against this year?

Daniilidou!
