That seems a bit rude to me. It seemed that the poster was making a legit point.

If Caro is actually going to try to play her match but it's raining if the court she's scheduled to play on has a roof (I don't remember which courts there have a roof) then there wouldn't be a long delay. I think that's what the poster was getting at.

I think an observation by another Wta coach about Caro's shots not having as much oomph as before is interesting (a bit troubling too) info. Just because it's not about whether Caro will play today or not doesn't make it useless.

I think TF66 was annoyed by the tone from that poster. Especially since she used the "" smiley. Anyway, that poster isn't a Caro fan.

You read my mind.

Naturally, I do not object to any non-GM troll coming into Caroline's forum with some solid, legit info, but when poster finishes with the smart arsed smiley, s/he looks exactly like that - imho.

Is Matt Cronin American? Journalism in this country is horrible.

Exactly. To quote one of her older posts, "Pusheriacki - get out !!" So if that is the way she feels TF66 had every right to return the compliment.

I think so Feel sorry for you for having to rely on info from such an asshole. He seems to have a real grudge on Caro, he keeps badmouthing her all the time often using fibs to attract attention. I think it's pretty sad that someone this unprofessional got a job as a journalist. I checked a few articles about him and apparently he has a history of getting into trouble because of the garbage he produces. He also got into arguments with players. I have a feeling that he is one of those creeps who provokes players during their personal interactions to gain a big story.

Ekstrabladet believes Caro had miracle worker/osteopath Torben Hersborg flown in from London to work on her ankle. Apparently he did a good job.

that's a really big win for Caro, but I only hope it won't take a toss on her body

may your choices reflect your hopes not your fears.

Now she has another match to test that ankle. And Serena will be a tougher opponent

If her ankle isn't great, maybe it's better if she doesn't go too far in the tournament to let it recover.

Has someone already posted that? I haven't been paying loads of attention.

I am quite sure Torben Hersborg was the same guy, they used in 2010.

He was the one advising her it was ok to play. Without having a medical degree I think it goes something like this :

By playing with a heavy taping, the ankle is in effect locked and won't risk making it worse. It could even have some benefits, as the increased blood flow could help reduce the risk for building 'scabs', which could require an operation to remove.

I assume it's scabs on the joint, bone ...

Yells : 'Is there a doctor in the house'?

Re: Danish Delight - Caroline Wozniacki thread - vol 5

She matched her 2011 result, 3rd round.
Only 3rd time all year she matched 2011. Also Sydney, Miami, where she went further
