Re: Womens Tennis in General

Sharapova survives BP, 1-0. That last DS was a brainfart from Lisicki!

Re: Womens Tennis in General

Sharapova takes it on her 3rd SP, 6-2. We're going to a decider. Lisicki was bad at net this set.

Re: Womens Tennis in General

Sharapova wins 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. Both were sharp on return but Sharapova landed better serves (both 1st and 2nd) on crucial points. Lisicki's defense was good but she didn't quite have Caro's ability to turn defense to offense.
SFs with all four top seeds still possible!

There was a USO (ITF event, still) not too long time ago. If memory serves me right. Contrary to #GMlogic and opinion, the top seeds ( surprisingly ) often do well at even WTA events.

PS The was directed at GM, not you, DIAH ..
