Ana dit it!

I think Serena is too good for her though, and even in the unlikely event that she would be able to make a match of it I don't think she has enough bottle to beat her. But hey, a QF is pretty good going and a big step in the right direction for Ana.

Now if only JJ would stop being useless.

Re: Womens Tennis in General

I actually think Pironkova would have had a (slightly) better chance against Serena. Mentally Ana may be the more intimidated of the two of them.

Hurry up, Berdych, Angelique has to get some revenge on Errani for what happened at Roland Garros this year.

I phrased it a bit wrongly because you were in the Siberian Siren thread.. Those same Mashatards who had no beef whatsoever with Masha's behavior last night, were the same ones whishing Serena all kinds of stuff when she was come on-ing at the Olympics.

Well, I've been posting semi-regularly at the SS forum recently. Most posters there are very nice to me. I don't know about GM because I rarely go there these days. It's all just trash talk, insulting players and other posters and trying to score points at the expense of others - all of which I find increasingly boring. But in the past I've also posted at the Serena forum and most posters there were also nice. But I'm not a saint. If Sharapova (or Serena for that matter) displayed that sort of attitude when playing Caroline I would of course find it annoying because I'm a Caro fan. But I realize that they are not out there to make me feel good about them but to win tennis matches, so I would accept it as part of the competition and I wouldn't hold a grudge against them for it.

Errani might have the most unimpressive game I`ve ever seen..it's so basic.

Louis Armstrong stadium seems a bit slow or the players' shots are kind of powderpuff.

Isn't Angie just the best?

I'm glad I stopped watching Serena's match early on and switched to this one.

Re: Womens Tennis in General

A double bagel in the 4th round of a grand slam is not a good thing. Though that the score does seem a bit flattering as Hlavackova did have a few games with game points.

Re: Womens Tennis in General

Yikes, even Angelique's buggest fan Jimmie48 can't be happy with how that set ended. I just don't get how Errani got so far with that serve?
