Because the masher trolls were horny. It helps then deal with their girl. More relevant is why is rule 1 being ignored by the mods?

If you look back a few pages there is a full explanation in this thread.

Actually,it's an attainable discipline that you can master through practice. In my country,we have many collateral accidents that are caused by idiots who gawk at crashes too long,so I have no sound choice but to ignore the original and avoid the potential follow-up

Not just you but other posters might get some humor and catharsis by naming suffering roaches after GM trolls once you've sprayed them with insecticide and caused them to flop on their backs. For me,it serves as occasional hilarity to watch their legs flutter furiously in the final throes of death as I pour a smidge of shampoo on their faces and watch them drown painfully

I am bustin'! Bustin'! Federer ended Djokovic's streak and will face Nadal in another French Open final! It will be very difficult but if Roger can beat Novak and Rafa back to back to win a slam it should get him back in the mix for the rest of 2011.

It was an absolutely fantastic match! Win was always in the balance right until the end.

Had hoped for a different result though.

Great match. But Djokovic made too many UEs in the first two sets.

I'm happy for Roger even though I wanted Novak to win.

Wouldn't you guys like to see the old man win one last slam before he is shipped off to the retirement home?

I for one was delighted that Rafa won today but was dreading him facing Nole in the final so I'm glad that Fed pulled through. But if Fed wins now I'll be hugely disappointed , I guess in a way it would be odd that both RG winners (supposedly the most gruelling of Slams) will be aged over 29.

He's not that old. He's 29.

I believe that the last time someone older than Federer won a grand slam was when the ageless Andre Agassi won the Australian Open in 2003. He was 32 which is very old for a grand slam winner.

Re: On the Concept of Irony w/ Continual Reference to Caro:Off-topic 4 the POPULAR #1

Well I want Li to win today. Although I completely lost interest in the women's side of this slam several days ago - I was at least glad she beat Masha. My reasons are:
  • I just think 2 slams is a huge overstatement of Fran as a player. I mean Caro always beats her now and did so at Brussels and for Fran to have 2 slams and pretty well do not much more and Caro to have none but have won what 9 or 10 tournaments in the last 12 months is such a distortion.
    .
  • Li was very close to beating Kim at AO and as runner-up there it would be nice to see her get a slam. Fran already has a slam.
    .
  • That "hee aaarr" din Fran comes up with every point - I do find annoying. I'm at least glad we don't have that and the shriekapova din from the other side.

I'm pretty neutral about who wins. I'm leaning slightly towards Fran. China is already taking over the world, can't they leave tennis alone?
