Didn't get any warnings from any mods but, apparently,at least one poster--maybe a SF fan--didn't like my sig line that talked about the Jim Harbaugh Vaginal Hygiene Clinic for bitchy coaches....my sig was magically changed back to the old one...no big deal

No,I also post regularly in Petra's forum and,on occasion,in Elena D's forum in the retired legends section.Who knows? It could've just been some browsing mod who was bored and had too much freetime on his/her hands

My neighbor's dog almost peed on my hand again;he's rather small thus easy to pick up but I was a little hasty cuz he often relieves himself within seconds of arriving outdoors,so I should've waited a little longer.Still, he missed so I suppose that's all that counts, right?

When it's an uphill struggle for a player, it's bad.
When it goes downhill for a player, it's also bad.

Afraid I'm not disciplined enough for that.

Sometimes--but not so much in sports--the phrase,'all downhill from there',can be a GOOD thing, indicating that someone has climbed a mountain(/overcome an obstacle).Still, you've given us a nice offering.I'm hesitant to agree with DIAH after he and his fellow Canadians shamefully abandoned poor Rebecca Marino in her time of need and persuaded her to retire, yet here are a couple others to add to your collection.

And over the hill is even worse...
apparently, anything involving hills should be avoided.

(There goes the Tour de France)

Hills are great... Culturally, linguistically and theologically we are geared to ascension and transcendence. It is the giddy summit we seek above what is human, however, what is actually important isn't the view from the top but the chalenging journey to it. As such the journey down isn't a negative thing but relatively unimportant in terms of learning, challenge and furtherment. The descent is the province of wisdom and reflection. Unless threatened we tend to live out our lives in the valley because living on the summit is far from ideal. Going downhill as such is the passage to an easy and hopefully fulfilled life with doubts and questions asnwered.

You could argue that those that forever seek the summit have dificulty with generating wisdom from experience. Certainly true for a fair few Le Tour participants... Especially Andy Schleck, who really seems to hate those descents.

Can't offer anything right now that's half as meaningful as what Burisleif just shared with us,but I'm wondering: Has anyone heard of a strategy where schools purposely lump all of the jerk-off students into one class??I can sort of see the logic in it because the malcriados will have a more limited impact that way. However, the aforementioned strategy can cause an almost unbelievable disparity in overall performance between two classes who are taking the same subject......and let's not forget those poor souls in the Jerk-offs' Class who are sincerely trying to learn and now have a significant, added obstacle
